GARY COHN
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
A New Jersey native, Gary graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1985 where he played in the basketball program for one year and then moved his family to Florida in 1988.
PTW was born from his passion for sports, attention to detail and client services, and an unyielding desire to help the next generation obtain a great college experience and education through athletics. And he is the author of Getting Recruited to Play College Baseball – A Practical Guide.
Gary has firsthand experience in the college admissions process. Daughter Rose, a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, is a video production entrepreneur in NYC. Son Aaron was a 2014 All-ACC and All-ACC Academic baseball player at Duke, received his MMS graduate degree from the Fuqua Business School and an MBA from University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. His youngest daughter Hannah graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received her Masters at Tel Aviv University and currently lives in London.
Gary's wife Debby is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a practicing dentist of 25 years. Two of his step children graduated the University of FL. Zach is involved in home health care and Madelyn is at UF pursuing her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Youngest step son, Joshua, brings much joy and life perspective as a minimally verbal young adult with autism.
And now he welcomes his beautiful grandson Hudson to an ever growing family.
